Your trust is our most important asset. We handle client account access with the utmost care and professionalism. This page outlines our strict security protocol for the "Your Droid + WEIS Hosting" service option.
Our Commitments: What We Do
- Secure Credential Storage: We store required credentials in a secure, encrypted, and access-controlled vault for the duration of the service.
- Limited Internal Access: Only authorized technical staff can access credentials, and only for the explicit purpose of deploying and maintaining your NPC.
- Defined Scope of Operation: Our activities on your account are strictly limited to operating the NPC. We will not access your Linden Dollar (L$) balance, manage your inventory, or read any private communications (IMs or group chats).
- Secure Data Deletion: All of your credentials are permanently and securely deleted from our systems immediately upon termination of your service contract.
Our Prohibitions: What We Do NOT Do
- Never Disclose Your Password: We will never share your password with anyone, for any reason. This includes you, the original owner. If you forget your password and ask us for it, we will refuse. This policy protects your account in the event your own communication channels are compromised.
- Never Alter Account Credentials: We will not change the password or add/modify two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account. Full control over the account's primary credentials remains with you at all times.
- Never Share Your Information: We do not share your login details or personal information with any third party.
- Never Use Unofficial Communication Channels: We will only communicate with you regarding your account and service through the pre-established channels agreed upon during setup (e.g., your designated email address and your primary Second Life avatar).
Client Best Practices
Security is a shared responsibility. For your own protection, we strongly recommend the following:
- Use a Unique Password: The password you provide us for the avatar should be unique and not used for any other service (especially not your email or financial accounts). - Change Password After Service: We advise that you change the account password after your service with us concludes.
